1st unit you see, the Soul Hunter, will no longer appear in the final draft of the game, though I thought its laser beams’ multiplying capacity was pretty cool

PC Gamer had an article about Starcraft 2 which outlined the new units within each race (at the time). This article also contained a cd which showcased some new Protoss units. The following units were announced: Soul Hunter (currently scrapped), Tempest (currently scrapped / now the Carrier), Phase Cannon and Twilight Archon.
