Acually a tempest is a carrier. I heard they recolored it gold and renamed it carrier to keep it simple.

they will keep all the classic units from sc1 in the map editor.
If it dosn’t come with classic game play, some one will make it.

Part of the SC2 …
Part of the SC2 setting is further into the future. And with that technology improves and stuff like units need to be improved so they make a new model and the old one becomes obsolete.

im just making an observation here but protoss have some pretty insanely strong units. those flying marines I think are called “Vikings” or somthing, but they got beat down by five soul hunters.

I feel bad for the …
I feel bad for the Tempest… they said that the Tempest would have a special energy shield that would greatly decrease attacks coming from ground units/structures. Although it was some what weaker than that of the Carrier. Now they return the Carrier, but removed the special shield… (T_T)
